Foundational Gardening: Getting to know your plants

Our first Community Garden Workshop is here with special guest Dr Sam Hey! Dr Sam has a rich knowledge of gardening, and has previously taught Horticulture at Hawkins.

Join us as he teaches foundational gardening, including an introduction to soils, fertilisers, composting, mulching, watering, propagation, seed saving and improving soils. Come and learn about some different types of plants, such as annuals, perennials, natives and exotics, and their needs.

PRICE: $20 or $10 for Garden Members (pay on entry)

WHO: Garden lovers of ALL skill levels are welcome!
